Popiah - D.i.Y

Went to this D.I.Y Popiah place, Good Chance Popiah, with a few of my colleagues after work last evening.. (It was scheduled to last Wed, but was postponed cuz yours truly couldn't make it - due to the zone meeting last wed.). Think the idea to head to this DIY popiah arose when a couple of were jogging around the Mount Faber (instead of up & down) and the idea of heading to this popiah place to makan just came about (since it was supposed to be quite famous.)

So, the popiah dinner finally came to pass...  Managed to snap my creation (san garlic/ chilli) discreetly.. (Dun think my colleagues are like photo-crazy.. haha).

It was rather tasty.. and we ordered some other dishes - all very quite alright - typical "zi-char" standard. But it was good fun, like what wy said, this mini-outing is much successful than the rather 冷场 Timbre nite out - the crowd were almost the same.. juz two more addition and one subtraction.. I reckon we were rather noisy - cuz we kept giggling - I guessed the crowd there were mostly families who stayed in the neighbourhood.. so.. won't be that rowdy.. And I supposed the diners sitted behind us were glad that we have left - cuz think a couple sorta gave us the dirty look. (but honestly, we weren't that loud. Just so that the rest of the diners were not that chatty..)

Food was alright, service not bad. (The boss - i should think, since he had posed with celebrities in the pictures/ new articles plastered on the wall -  treated us with complimentary dessert- almond jelly with logan.. A sweet surprise wo!)

A few of us adjourned to the Prive after the dinner.. Didn't managed to get the table nearer to the dock, nonetheless the table we were sitted gave us a view of the dreamy /cloudy backdrop of mount faber. (It was rather cloudy last night... :)) Snapped a shot of the neon-lit bridge ~ kinda resembles the SG flyer?

Din snap the desserts that we ordered @ Prive - but the charlotte fruit cake was yummy.. the warm chocolate tart was good too... Hmm...

Sigh.. The consequence of the feast technically should be followed by a workout. But session with evil simpson has to be postponed cuz meeting with z.cgl & estelle later.. :)
