"During the holiday season from 1 November to 24 December 2009, IKEA Singapore will donate S$2 for each Soft Toy sold in IKEA Alexandra and IKEA Tampines to UNICEF and Save the Children education projects under the IKEA Social Initiative.
IKEA Social Initiative funds education projects in Asia, Africa and Central and Eastern Europe with proceeds from the annual “S$2 is a fortune” campaign. Since 2003, this Soft Toy campaign has raised a total of 16.7 million euros to support 40 programmes in more than 20 countries and provided opportunities for quality education to millions of children, and IKEA Singapore hopes to be part of this effort..."

I saw this pair of mommy and baby hedgehogs the other day when I went IKEA two weeks ago. .and adopted them home... cuz they are so cuddly soft and.. for a good cause (right?) So mommy and baby hedgehog are happily snoozing at home right now while it's wet and cold outside... (it's raining again!)
