Was intending to usher in the new year in warm cosy home as I was rather tired after working very long hours every day after Christmas due to the peakpeak period... my cgl has invited us to his cozy place in AMK for the countdown.. but the ulu-ness factor of the location has deterred me a bit.. and on the morning of the new year's eve, mandy texted to jio for countdown @ marina sq with the choir angels.. (Oh man, MS? it'll be packed like sardines .. and i don't want to jostle with the throngs of peeps on train home for the few moments of fireworks display...) So, decided to be AS (anti-social) and to head home after attending the dinner invi (extend by my group controller to the various departments directly under him) @ Dover..
Was actually rather sleepy (cuz of the late nights and haha after the hitting the treadmill for 45min and a brief resistance training and haha two glasses of red wine & 1 glass of white @ the dinner) hence told mandy i was heading home for zzzz.. Then my colleague invited me to her church countdown party @ Bishan ... which sorta prompted me to head to AMK lo.. (afterall, hitch a ride there mah...) Hence, ended up shopping like an aunty (and was lost in the isles in AMK fairprice... ) for the stuff requested by master chef eugene... Elated to see vory there at cgl's place.. :) was rather surprise to see max there cuz.. haha thought it was a cg thingy?? haha.. nevermind.. was glad there ushering the new year with my spiritual family lor... haha and ended up as a maria again (like the time @ kei's place) cuz haha of master chef eugene... was fun still... and think it's a new year i drank quite a bitsy.. like 2 glasses of lime/vodka/gin connoctation ( lovely!!) and perhaps 2 glasses of white/red wine? but haha nope, was still very sober.. (just sleepy by the time cab headed home ard 4+)
New year day was spent sleeping... and ya.. sleeping.. hence have yet start on the goal setting yet.. haha.. but it was a good start so far.. Won a bright red luggage case in a lucky dip yesterday @ Tangs.. the lady @ the counter was more excited & happier than me cuz it was like one of the top prizes? (According to her, worth > $200 - ) and it was the first to be given out so far.. haha.. Didn't intend to splurge that much but seeing that i was $1 away from a lucky dip (cuz replenished my nite cream & serum ), or $101 away from two lucky dips and a can of abalone.. i figured perhaps, the prizes & the abalone can cover up what i spent.. hence.. haha..bought a pair of mary janes from clarks.. :) (lovely!)
And in turn, i managed not to cab, but lug the luggage, two pairs of shoes, and a pair of dumbbells up the train then bus home.. Thank goodness I've pair of strong arms.. haha.. :)
Goal setting this weekend.. :)
