First!!

Despite only catching 4 hours of wink, I managed to complete the city run which my Cgl has encouraged me to sign up..and I came in ahead of other female competitors, which the next one finishing like a couple of min after me..

Didn't expect to win cuz actually I just wanna finish asap., cuz had merely a banana before rushing off...(after failing to revived vaio - which showed me bright light - c'est tout! ;( laid hands on it before leaving.. Wonder if it will wake up when I get home).

Clocked 28:45 for 5 km.(but according to the timekeeper, it was 27:50!) Not a personal best but I won!! ;)

Itchy

I must have a high tolerance level for discomfort cuz the tiny rashes that evolved after slight scratching at the right arm during choir practice two weeks ago grew to this angry mess.

The spot that I'd scratched wasn't as unsightly as this initially.. Just merely tiny red spots - so I dismissed it as 'raptures' of minor capillaries.. Which actually evolved to bumps later that night but I simply applied tea tree oil to sooth the itch..

I guessed the dirty sea water that might have came into contact with the rashes that Sunday infected it further.. :(

But I continued with the tea tree oil remedy.. Didn't realize it's that gross until an hour ago when my colleague hm commented.. And cautioned me to go doc.. Cuz it was dragging too long and warned me abt shingles..

;( changed my plans from gym to doc

Sweet

Once again, was tasked to be 姐妹 for a friend's wedding. (last min sorta) Thankfully for the bc puffy cocktail dress I bought for ivory's wedding.. I need not get another dress... ;)cuz her theme was sweet pink...

Was up since 545am but had my brekkie only at 1145.. Hungry.. ;(

Met my sec sch choir friend Sandra, who's one of the 姐妹,who didn't recognize me - cuz I'd shrank in size! ;) Gosh, she didn't realize I was from hwa change too! ;( lol

A pic that I snapped while waiting for the arrival of the bros to arrive... Think I look much better in this now than when I first bought it a few mths ago.. ;)

The gatecrashing was delayed and shortened as the bros were delayed by PIE's jam.. Still things went as planned (but improvised) ..

Tired... On way back to bride's for tea ceremony after the groom's tea ceremony ..

To be continued...

Capsuled-joy!

Remember the Capsuled-toys vending machines that made u spend loads of your loose change, all in an attempt to get the missing toy in the collection?

Was madly 'wasting' the ¥100 coin in my Japan trip on this cheap thrills, cuz the lil trinkets and what's not that was in the capsule was adorable and かわいい!!

To pacify myself having to work on a Saturday of a long-weekend, I gave myself a small treat- a spin on the Kiki & Lala capsule machine at e-hub before work..

These capsules are meant for sale in japan only, so justified for the S$3 per spin.. (¥200 was the RSP on the label).

Here's the treat!

It's  キキA! (which means I just need 2 more to complete the collection!)

Pretty easy to perk me up rite? (^O^)

i hate syncing

because it's eating into my beauty sleep hours... :(

first it's the itunes/quicktime... then it's the os 4.1 for the phone..drats.. ;(

my items from momoteapots haven't arrived ;( think it should be either tmw or sat..

tempted to headdown to haji lane for the private sale after the 'jie-mei' meeting later.. Was roped in as part of the bride's entourage like.. on Monday when i rsvp to her wedding dinner? Not exactly bbf but I knew her like since.. Sec 3, then went on same jc, different CT grp but same ECA (or CCA as what the MOE termed those activities outside academic cirriculum.) Was rather surprised that she asked me to join the gatecrashing in the morning... but me, being nice as usual, agreed.. :)

haha at least at the meeting tmw, i will meet a couple of my sec sch classmates ..:)

yeah, updates all done.. time to sleep!!!

Frustration of undelivery

Had been opting for registered mail for delivery of my online purchases which I thought will be safer, but apparently until recently, the notification cards of attempted delivery were not found until the post office sent a reminder to collect the items. (my bro was fed up and direct registered articles to be delivered  to his office instead..)

Maybe it's the pms thingy ... But decided to kindly inform singpost of the situation since my verbal feedback to the aunty at the PO doesn't seem to convey the message that those notification cards are not delivered !!

My love note to singpost :

"Recently, for the past few registered items that was addressed to my residential address, the notification cards were not received as purported by your system as 'delivered'.  (No such cards were found at doorstep or near the door).
The latest unreceived notification card relates to article no. XXXXXXXXXXX, which your system recorded 'delivery attempted, notification card issued on 24 August 2010' but no notification card was received. On 23 August 2010,just a day earlier, another notification card to collect my registered item (YYYYYYYYYYY) was not received either. (I managed to collect it only when I obtained the registered article no.  from the sender.)

I was only informed of the 24th August attempted delivery last evening by the 'reminder' card that was sent by the Post Office.

On the few RARE occasions that the delivery card was received, it was stuck together with pamphlets at the ledge of the gates. (Which is prone to being flown away by wind or being picked up by others who passed by the gates.)

I would appreciate it if you could kindly feedback to the postal delivery person to KINDLY SLIP the notification card under the door instead of stuffing it at the ledge of the gate for convenience sake? It will certainly reduce additional resources for the post office to issue reminders to collect the items should the notification card of the initial attempted delivery was being delivered to the recipient."
